Sales Marketing Executive (FT)

Department Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, successful candidate who will join our team of experienced Sales Marketing Executive, with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.  This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.  Reporting to Account Manager.

Job Requirements

He/She works as part of an account team to identify, qualify and deliver Hardware products/ solutions to clients. Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory. Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies. Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications. Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers. Drives company's strategy into assigned accounts. Follows Tan Soon Hin's methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit. Ensures that the company's sales goals are met and executed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities. Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals.


Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. 


Job Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM or Diploma.
  • Be able to read/write/speak in Man/Can, English & Malay.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in building materials industry.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation.
  • Highly motivated and result oriented.

Assistant HR/Admin Officer

Department Overview

Areas of Responsibility: The Assistant HR/Admin will be responsible for providing recruitment support throughout TSH locations.  He or she will participate in the planning of recruitment activities, such Job Fairs, Group Interview Sessions and one on one Interviews with Department Managers. This role will also involve the delivery of TSH job specific training at all of our locations.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Manages all administration related to recruitment – (including receiving and reviewing recruitment requests, preparing Internal/External job postings for distribution, posting jobs on internal and external job boards and organizing resumes and job applications received).
  • Conduct pre-screening activities, create candidacy questionnaires, reviewing and assess candidate’s suitability for available positions. Maintain a pipeline of candidates for future job openings throughout the organization.
  • Schedule job interviews and assist in interview process.
  • Schedule and conduct New Hire Orientations.
  • Ensure background and reference checks are completed.
  • Maintain information collected through applicant tracking system
  • Assists, coordinates and prepares reports with data collected through Million Payroll software.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM or Diploma.
  • Ability to communicate professionally & effectively, both orally and in writing (English, Malay and Chinese).
  • Minimum 6 months of high-level recruitment experience preferred.
  • Experience in interpreting, explaining and applying policies and regulations.
  • Experience in a human resources environment.
  • Experience with and understanding of payroll principles.
  • Experience in producing reports.
  • Ability to produce high quality work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Tech Savvy, the ability to use various software such as MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 
  • Ability to gather and analyze information.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues/information in a professional manner.

Credit Risk Officer (FT)

Department Overview

The Risk Management Collection Strategies (RMCS) is responsible for the development and execution of risk strategies and initiatives that assist the Collections and Recovery function in mitigating credit losses while assisting customers that are experiencing financial hardship.


Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Managers and Directors, Reporting and Analytics the Analyst is responsible for generating regular and adhoc reporting and analysis for collections strategies related to Tan Soon Hin's Clients Payments Portfolios.  This role is to provide risk expertise and analytical thought leadership in support of strategies related to assisting customers in resolving delinquent payments. This role offers a unique opportunity to strategically drive business performance through the identification of business/industry related issues, trends and loss avoidance opportunities across the full suite of Clients Payments Portfolios.


Key Accountabilities

  • Support the development, production and delivery of Risk Management Reports that provides analysis and insights related to trends within the delinquent Clients Payments Portfolios.
  • Adhoc and deep dive analysis to identify portfolio trends contributing to risk and business results. Presentation of findings and actionable recommendations to Tan Soon Hin Management team.
  • Develop and maintain reporting that monitors collections strategies and assess delinquent intake and inventory.
  • Liaise with the loss forecasting and reporting teams within Risk Management to provide insights into the delinquent portfolio and the impact of collection strategies, collection operations and initiatives on delinquency and loss performance.
  • Develop and maintain reporting that allows for benchmarking trends and performance of Tan Soon Hin's delinquent portfolio with those of the broader industry.
  • Provide tracking of the loss avoidance impacts associated with new collections strategies and initiatives.
  • Represent Risk Management, as a subject matter expert in collection strategies and the management of our delinquent portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain 2nd line reporting for collection and recovery. This includes collections performance with respect to approved targets and policy related volume, concentration and exception monitoring.
  • Act as the second line of defense for Account Receivable Assistance (Tan Soon Hin's collections and recovery team - Account/Finance Department).
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders including Sales and Marketing Department, Account/Finance Department, Product groups and external vendors.


Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate professionally & effectively, both orally and in writing (English, Malay and Chinese). 
  • Minimum 2-3 years‘ experience and proven track record as Credit Risk Executive and above.
  • Certified Credit Professional (CCP) candidate is an added advantage.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen using impact and influencing skills.
  • Ability to lead an initiative with little supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation & communication skills.
  • Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently.


Education and Accreditation

  • Knowledge of Collections business and reporting is ideal.
  • Previous Business Analytics, Consumer Lending and\\or Risk Management Experience is an asset
